Abstract

The Z24 bridge project is unique in the sense that a long-term continuous monitoring test is combined with realistic short-term progressive damage tests on a full-scale bridge. The measurement data have been presented as a benchmark test for system identification methods for operational modal analysis as well as a benchmark test for algorithms for structural health monitoring and damage identification. This article contains a description of the bridge tests as well as a literature review of results obtained with the measurement data.
