Summary

The collaborative effort of the U.S. glass industry in the past five years has developed a list of industry goals to keep it viable, and an outline of research projects required to achieve these goals. The industry has recognized that it needs a unified voice or organization to facilitate accomplishing these research efforts. The Glass Manufacturing Industry Council is being organized to satisfy this need.
