Summary

To establish a standard procedure for ion dissolution determination, wo ball clays were used to prepare suspensions in an experimental matrix, varying solids loading and times. Using the baroid technique, the water samples were collected and analyzed for ion concentration levels. Cation exchange is found to be a significant obstacle of a simple standard procedure. A solution is proposed.
