Summary

A digital magnetic power System for electric resistive heating elements or any type of resistive load was discussed. The overall purpose of this paper was to solve some of the problem associated with (1) the nature of the loads dealing with electric heating elements, and (2) temperature control with an alternative power system. Lower RF noise, load independence, digital isolation, and reliability were other considerations. The system, its advantages, and its applications were described.
