Summary

An innovative system of continuous wet grinding recently introduced for the preparation of the powders for pressing in the production of ceramic floor and wall tile is described. This technology allows considerable energy savings, as well as remarkable economic-managerial advantages in the phase of preparation of raw materials. Results obtained in several studies are presented along with an evaluation of the conditions leading to the optimum performance of this technology.
