Summary

New reddish ceramic colors were obtained in Cr-doped CaSn1-xTixSiO3 (0.6 ≤ × ≤ 0.8) and Sn1-xTixO2 (x ∼0.2) solid solution systems. Doping coloring ion into solid solutions of oxides was suggested to be a good method not only for modifying currently available ceramic colors but also for synthesizing novel colors.
