Summary

Wear-resistant coatings applied by proprietary techniques based on chemical-vapor-deposition technology will be described. The process results in an ultrafine-grained-structure deposit having enhanced physical properties. A general description of processing will be given along with erosion and sliding-firiction test results. Some recent successful applications of the coatings will be described.
