Summary

A properly selected and designed combination of materials has evolved that offers excellent resistance to chemical, thermal, and physical abuse common to flue-gas systems. The concept of chemically resistant membranes top-coated with one or more chemically resistant linings of inorganic silicate cements is now being recommended for applications in ducts and stacks.
