Abstract

A 1945 charter division of the American Psychological Association (APA) as Division 10, the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts has a rich history. As a professional society, Division 10 aims to join together individuals from diverse backgrounds: researchers and clinicians, art therapists and artists, and academicians and students. Common interests in creative process, product, and perception bring them together to dialogue about myriad topics from aesthetics and the arts, to creative leadership and giftedness, to cognition and creativity in aging (e.g., Kennedy, 1993; Lindauer, 2003; Richards, 2007; Seifert, 2007; Sternberg, 2006; Zhang & Sternberg, 2006).
