Abstract

The Division of Peace Psychology, established within the American Psychological Association (APA) in 1990, is a growing organization of psychologists, students, and professional affiliates from diverse disciplines. Division 48 is now also an independent organization, under the name Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict, and Violence, and it is open for membership to individuals who are not members of APA.
