Abstract

Born on August 28, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas to Mexican immigrant parents. Elizondo has distinguished himself as a priest, educator, and theologian. He is regarded as the father of US Hispanic theology. He has been recognized by Time Magazine as one of the spiritual innovators of the 21st century.
