Abstract

Born in London in 1921, John Stott later trained at Cambridge for ministry in the Church of England. For decades he served All Souls' Church, Langham Place, in London as curate, Rector, and Rector Emeritus. This commitment to the local parish and practical ministry continued as a major theme throughout his broader ministry to global evangelical Christianity.
