The colossal size of data and user demand poses a challenge to the scientific community to be able to offer effective tools for information retrieval (IR) and knowledge management (KM). This chapter offers a new tool for searching tweets. The tool uses new features such as audience and RetweetRank for ranking relevant tweets. The chapter discusses the impact of these criteria on the search results for relevant information. A new metric to improve the results of the searches in microblogs, is proposed. More accurately, a research model that combines content relevance, tweet relevance and author relevance, is proposed. The primary experimental evaluation that was conducted on a collection of articles of Twitter shows that the proposed measurement allows a better assessment of the impact of bloggers and tweets' technical specificities.
