Rodney H. Jones (b.1959) is currently the Associate Head of the Department of English, City University of Hong Kong, where he has been teaching since 1995 (home page:∼enrodney). Jones received a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Kansas in Fayetteville, an MPhil in English from City University of Hong Kong, and a PhD in Linguistics from Macquarie University, Sydney. His research interests include youth cultures, computer-mediated communication (CMC), multimodal discourse analysis, mediated discourse analysis, discourse and sexuality, and health communication.
