Abstract

As companies and markets become global, global product development is becoming the norm for an increasing number of corporations. The article begins by defining key terms, and then briefly outlines factors that drive the trend of global product development. Key themes in global product development are then identified. The article concludes with a discussion of the potential issues related to global product development in the future.
