Summary

The extremes of care that we currently see in prostate cancer require that we seek out novel management strategies that represent a middle way between active surveillance and radical therapies. Focal therapy has emerged to fill this void. It is a controversial proposition. In this chapter, we provide an overview of the rationale for focal therapy by evaluating the current strategies on offer.
