Abstract

What do the passage of the anti-immigration law, SB-1070, in Arizona, the social uprisings – usually called riots – in England, and Norway's domestic terrorist attack have in common? These varied events demonstrate in dramatic fashion that, in our globalized world, international migration, human rights (HR), and issues of class and race are inextricably linked.
