Abstract

As flows of migrants from developing countries to developed countries continue unabated, international migration has become an important policy area that warrants sound management. This essay reviews existing policies that address five major issues concerning international migration: outward migration, inward migration, transit migration, return migration, and remittances (see Luckanachai & Rieger 2010).
