Homosexuality is romantic or sexual attraction toward, or activity with, members of one's own sex or gender. There are many ways to approach homosexuality and ethics. Traditional discussions typically focus on the morality of homosexual conduct per se. Alternatively, one might focus on the morality of society's treatment of gay, lesbian, and bisexual persons, or one might look at moral challenges that are unique to, or at least typical of, such persons – for instance whether, when, and how to “come out“ as gay, lesbian, or bisexual.
