Summary

Photo-EMF measurements provide a useful tool to estimate the electronic state of silicon charges that are used in the direct synthesis of chloromethylsilanes. Relationships were observed between the reactivity of silicon and its electronic state varied by doping with phosphorus, tin, boron, and indium respectively.
