Abstract
Designing bespoke pieces for a range of public and commercial projects, interactive architect Jason Bruges redefines the role of the architect as maker of responsive environments, an identity closer to that of the artist. Lucy Bullivant explains how his application of state- of- the- art technologies enables Bruges to push the boundaries both in terms of his exploration of light, sound and space and the materials he uses.
