A flexible and ultralight-weight platform for chemiresistive biosensor applications is developed by conformal deposition on highsurface- area electrospun polymeric fibers using the oxidative chemical vapor deposition technique. On page 4328, Karen Gleason and co-workers demonstrate the successful detection of as low as 5 nM biotin as a proof of concept. A 500% enhancement in response is achieved when compared to a flat surface.
