Giant Electric Field Tuning of Magnetic Properties in Multiferroic Ferrite/Ferroelectric Heterostructures (pages 1826–1831)

Giant magnetoelectric couplings in microwave frequency are observed in multiferroic ferrite-ferroelectric heterostructures derived by a low temperature spin-spray process. A record-high electrostatically tuning of ferromagnesim resonance field up to 860 Oe, corresponding to a large microwave magnetoelectric coefficient of 108 Oe cm kV–1, is achieved in a Fe3O4/PZN-PT heterostructure, which provides a great opportunity for electrostatically tunable microwave multiferroic devices.
