Abstract

Molecular-based magnetic materials have been shown to order both as bulk ferro- and ferrimagnets. Here, the effect of anisotropy of the magnetic interaction between interacting centers on the transition temperature to magnetic order is investigated and it is shown that molecular materials containing rare-earth elements can have magnetic transition temperatures comparable to those containing transition-metal ions.
