Optically active polyaniline–carbon-nanotube nanocomposites are synthesized by using a solution-chemistry method. The stereochemical selectivity of the composites can be tailored by controlling the nanotube loading. At low nanotube contents (<3 wt %), the chiral composites show high absolute stereochemical selectivity. The figure shows normalized circular dichroism spectra of the composites with different nanotube/monomer weight ratios in aqueous solutions.
