Abstract

The cover image shows a stretchable photovoltaic module consisting of ultrathin, inorganic solar cells interconnected in mesh-like geometries and mounted onto structured elastomeric substrates, as reported by Yonggang Huang, John A. Rogers, and co-workers on p. 986. Mechanical deformations are accommodated by the flexible interconnects of the mesh and stretchable trenches of the substrate.
