XMCD-PEEM images showing spontaneous magnetic moments in mixed-phase stripes, which can be electrically controlled through changing environmental ferroelectric and ferroelastic boundary conditions. The inset shows the corresponding ferroelectric domain structures. The arrows indicate the in-plane polarization directions of the matrixes and the mixed-phase boundaries.
