Solvent-Induced Delamination of a Multifunctional Two Dimensional Coordination Polymer (Adv. Mater. 15/2013)

Unprecedented full delamination of a multifunctional 2D metal–organic framework (MOF) assisted only by solvent interaction is carried out on page 2141 by Félix Zamora, Salome Delgado, and co-workers. This observation is a direct consequence of the structure of the starting material, characterized by interlayer cavities that can be filled by the solvent molecules, producing delamination in a simple and reproducible way.
