Abstract

Carbon-based materials with high surface area, accessible porosity, and good conductivity are extremely desirable for energy-conversion applications. On page 6226, Shi Zhang Qiao and co-workers report a hybrid material composed of hierarchical ordered porous carbon and in situgrown graphene, which successfully combines the above merits and results in a synergistically enhanced electrochemical catalysis performance for oxygen reduction.
