Abstract

In einer milden, Ni0-vermittelten Cyclisierung gelingt der Aufbau des gespannten 12gliedrigen Peptid-Biarylsystems (Beispiel rechts) des Antibiotikums Vancomycin. Damit ist auch die Totalsynthese von Vancomycin selbst nähergerückt. Boc = tert-Butoxycarbonyl, X, R beispielsweise O, H.
