Alles in einem Schritt! Durch Iodoniumkation-vermittelte Eintopfsynthese (siehe Schema, PG=Schutzgruppe) können aus Anilin und seinen Derivaten metallfrei 3-Iodindole aufgebaut werden. Die Methode bietet einen allgemeinen Zugang zum Indol-Grundgerüst, das Bestandteil vieler biologisch relevanter Verbindungen ist.
