Axiale und helicale Chiralität zeigen Metallkomplexe mit einem neuartigen Tetrakis(phosphanyl)terphenyl-Liganden (tetraphos, siehe Bild). Pd-Komplexe, deren Enantiomerenreinheit durch Diaminliganden kontrolliert werden kann, wurden als Katalysatoren der Carbonyl-En-Reaktion eingesetzt.
