Das Hochdurchsatz-Screening von Bibliotheken potenzieller Inhibitoren gelingt mit einer Enzymmikroarray-Methode, die einen geringen Probenverbrauch mit Genauigkeit und Geschwindigkeit kombiniert. Informationen über die Inhibierung von Enzymen lassen sich erhalten, indem ein fluoreszierender Affinitätsmarker einem Mikroarray funktionaler Enzyme zugesetzt wird (siehe Bild).
