Hohe Enantioselektivitäten (bis zu 99 % ee) und Umsatzzahlen (bis zu 48 000) wurden in der Hetero-Diels-Alder-Reaktion diverser Aldehyde mit aktivierten Dienen in Gegenwart des Katalysators [Rh2(S-bptpi)4] erzielt (siehe Schema).
