Eine intramolekulare SNAr-Reaktion ermöglichte die Synthese enantiomerenreiner P,N-Liganden vom MAP(O)-Typ in hohen Ausbeuten (siehe Schema). Dies belegt, dass das Synthesepotenzial der 85 Jahre alten Staudinger-Reaktion zwischen Phosphanen und Aziden noch bei weitem nicht ausgeschöpft ist. Nf=Nonafluorbutansulfonat.
