Ein quadratisch-planares Netz (siehe Bild) ist im neuen binären Antimonid Hf5Sb9 enthalten. Das Netz ist T-förmig (grüne Markierung) aus Sb-Atomen (rote Kreise) aufgebaut. Seine elektronische Struktur und Bindungssituation im Festkörper wurden mithilfe theoretischer Methoden analysiert.
