Nur ein paar Kupferlinge: Einfach zu erzeugende zwei-, drei-, vier- und mehrkernige Kupfer-Triethanolamin-Komplexe sind selektive und wirksame Katalysatoren für die Oxidation von Alkanen zu Alkoholen mit Wasserstoffperoxid unter milden Bedingungen (siehe Bild).
