Ketene werden in einer katalytischen asymmetrischen Synthese tertiärer α-Chlorester mit 2,2,6,6-Tetrachlorcyclohexanon gekuppelt (siehe Schema). Diese Methode ergänzt kürzlich bei der Erzeugung sekundärer α-Halogencarbonylverbindungen erzielte Fortschritte.
