Wie berechnet, so gefunden: IR-Multiphotonendissoziations(IRMPD)-Spektroskopie mit der abstimmbaren IR-Strahlung eines Freie-Elektronen-Lasers identifiziert die Alkoxidaddukte von 1,3,5-Trinitrobenzol als prototypische anionische σ-Komplexes in der Gasphase (siehe das berechnete IR-Spektrum von 1 und das experimentelle IRMPD-Spektrum; N blau, O grün, C grau, H weiß).
