Ein mikroporöses Indatgermanat wurde unter milden Solvothermalbedingungen mit einem organischen Amin als strukturdirigierendem Agens erhalten. Die Struktur besteht aus Germanatschichten (grün), die über Ketten cis-kantenverknüpfter In-O-Oktaeder (pink zu einem Gerüst mit 12-Ring-Kanälen verbunden sind (siehe Bild).
