Ein Blick in den Kristall: Eine kristallographische Methode zur Bestimmung und Analyse der Gibbs-Energie liefert nicht nur einen Weg zur Messung von Bindungsenergien, sondern ermöglicht es auch, auf atomarer Ebene die Wechselwirkungen zu identifizieren, die für Veränderungen in der Bindungsaffinität verantwortlich sind (Bild: Überlagerung von Dipeptid-Cyclophilin-3-Strukturen; W=konservierte H2O-Moleküle).
