Hybrid αγ Polypeptides: Structural Characterization of a C12/C10 Helix with Alternating Hydrogen-Bond Polarity

Ein anderer Dreh: Eine gemischte C12/C10-Helix mit abwechselnder Orientierung der Wasserstoffbrücke wurde im Kristall des hybriden αγ-Peptids Boc-Leu-Gpn-Leu-Aib-OMe identifiziert (siehe Struktur; Boc: tert-Butoxycarbonyl; Leu: Leucin; Gpn: 1-(Aminomethyl)cyclohexanessigsäure (Gabapentin); Aib: Aminoisobuttersäure). Das Strukturmotiv kann für gemischte Helices allgemein sein.
