Kostengünstig: Difunktionelle Katalysatoren, die durch spontane Koordination von käuflichen chiralen substituierten Binolen, China-Alkaloiden und Ti(OiPr)4 entstehen (siehe Bild), ermöglichen die asymmetrische Hydrophosphonylierung von Aldehyden mit bis zu 99 % Ausbeute und ee-Werten über 99 %. Mit nur 2.5 Mol-% Katalysator wird eine ganze Reihe von Substraten umgesetzt.
