Ein Redox-Sandwich: Pyrrol wurde in den Nanospalten eines schichtförmigen offenen Koordinationsgerüsts mit redoxaktiven Zentren oxidativ und intercalierend polymerisiert. Das dabei gebildete Polypyrrol, das aus dem Wirtgerüst isoliert werden kann, existiert in Form gestapelter Polymerschichten, deren Orientierung und Morphologie direkt mit denen des ursprünglichen Koordinationspolymertemplats korrelieren.
