SAXS-Messungen (SAXS: Kleinwinkelröntgenstreuung) liefern direkte Informationen über die Bildung der Kontaktionenpaare zwischen dem [Nb6O19]8−-Polyoxometallat und den acht Ladungen ausgleichenden Caesium-Kationen in wässriger Lösung. Die Gyrationsradien (Rg) für Cs8[Nb6O19] und [Nb6O19]8− sind gezeigt.
