Abstract

Gleichmäßiger Schnitt: Im scharfen Widerspruch zum üblichen Verhalten von Pd0-Komplexen vermag [Pd(IPr)(PCy3)] die H-H-Bindung zu aktivieren. Das entstehende trans-[Pd(H)2(IPr)(PCy3)] ist der erste isolierte einkernige Dihydridopalladiumkomplex (siehe Schema). Seine Bildung wird durch NMR-Spektroskopie, Dichtefunktionalrechnungen und Röntgenstrukturanalyse bestätigt. Stabilität und Reaktivität dieser neuen Spezies werden untersucht.
