Drei auf einen Streich: Nichtaktivierte Diene mit einer Cycloalkenyleinheit bilden in Gegenwart von Pd(OAc)2/PPh3 mit einer Vielzahl substituierter Arylhalogenide kondensierte polycyclische Heterocyclen (siehe Schema). Bei dieser Dominoreaktion, die hoch regioselektive C-C-Kupplungs- und C-H-Funktionalisierungsschritte umfassst, werden drei C-C-Bindungen gebildet. DMF=N,N-Dimethylformamid, Bn=Benzyl, Ts=p-Toluolsulfonyl.
