Abstract

Fixe Idee: N-Heterocyclische Carbene und ihre CO2-Addukte sind wirksame Organokatalysatoren für die Synthese von Carbonaten durch Addition von CO2 an Propargylalkohole oder Epoxide unter milden, lösungsmittelfreien Bedingungen (siehe Schema). Die erhöhte Lewis-Basizität von Imidazol-2-ylidenen mit elektronenschiebenden N,N′-Dialkylgruppen macht es möglich, CO2 als nucleophiles Fragment in chemischen Fixierungsprozessen einzusetzen.
