Weiche Materie mit hartem Kern: Durch PtII⋅⋅⋅PtII- und hydrophobe Wechselwirkungen gehen planare Organoplatin(II)-Kationen mit Chlorid- oder Sulfat-Gegenionen in Wasser in rot emittierende, viskoelastische, gestapelte Mesophasen über, aus denen leicht ausgerichtete Filme und uniaxiale Mikrofasern mit cofacialer Molekülanordnung erhalten werden.
