Space Invaders: Eine Serie von Multichromophoren (Dimere bis hin zu dendritischen 24-meren) wurde hergestellt und spektroskopisch charakterisiert. Die Zwei-Photonen-Absorption hängt von der Zahl und Verteilung der chromophoren Untereinheiten ab und ist umso stärker, je näher sich diese sind (siehe Bild). Das Excitonenmodell weist auf rein elektrostatische Wechselwirkungen hin.
